Mary Kaye Herbert, M.S
As a School Psychologist, my experience at Oakwood Elementary has been extraordinary! Working with students, teachers, and parents has been rewarding with an amazing supportive staff and community. My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and graduate training in educational psychology and special education. School Psychologists provide parent/teacher consultation, evaluations, intervention, safety and prevention programming, and engage in research based practices. I also conduct classroom presentations involving resiliency training, provide individual counseling, small group instruction, social skills, bullying/problem solving training, divorce and grief groups, and implement schoolwide positive behavior supports. School Psychologists strive to provide services to all students, and it has been a pleasure working with the Oakwood community. Please contact me for additional resources or services.
